Sometimes when I get stuck on a piece of writing I’ll put a hat on. It doesn’t really help, but I do it anyway. Probably because it’s a destraction. Normally it’s a cycling cap. But this was the one near my desk. It’s from some Rodeo shop in Gallop NM. I got it to “fit in” when I was doing field work there. And only after a week of push from my class mates. I have no use for it, but because of the impact that trip had on my life, I’m attached to it always. (Taken with instagram)
